haven't felt well lately and it has taken a toll on me. Also, my friend Aggie is in bad shape again, pneumonia and possible blood clot in her right arm, which is the bad arm due to her mastectomy that she had when all this cancer started. She had cemo yesterday, her lady friend brought her home, and Aggie fell after she got out of the truck. Ambulance was called but she refused to go to the hospital. She was taken by ambulance today and told me she doesn't remember anything after the fall yesterday. i get upset with myself when i talk to her cuz i can't stay strong when she starts crying.....how can i help her if i cry, i need to be strong for her, and it seems impossible at times. Lordy, Lordy......"this too shall pass" right??

There hasn't been any work for John the last few weeks, so that is a bummer, and i didn't go work at the hospital today cuz of my health problem.......bummer, PLUS, if i don't do my laundry real soon i will be stuck permanently in my apartment!! i don't know what it is with me and laundry......i have always had a problem even when i had my own washer and dryer!! DUH! how stupid is that?

Things are....

slowly getting back to normal. My sis n b-i-l made it back home safe and sound. i had planned on last Friday just doin nothing, but; then i was invited to go see the movie, "Momma Mia", i sooooo enjoyed it! i love musicals. All the actors did a good job with the singin also.

Sunday was my stay at home and do nothing day. Today, i had a visit from a member of my church....we had a good visit. Tomorrow i will work with John and then Wednesday, do my work at the hospital, and then go on from there. Like i said, things are getting back to normal.

i think i have decided on which Supplemental Insurance to get, just waiting for their rep to contact me. i sure hope i don't have any more bills coming in the near future to me. i still have to finish paying for my air conditioner, then of course, i now pay for Medicare and i will be paying for my supplemental. Oh well, who needs groceries or paper products, right??? Confused

Long day~~~

Well, my sister and b-i-l are back in Michigan from California. Auntie Doris passed on, my b-i-l, that was his Mom. i went to church this AM, then over to the daughters home for sandwich, chips, then to the funeral parlor for visitation from 1 to 5pm this afternoon. The a gang of us went out to Pizza Hut for supper, then back to our church, to set up tables and chairs for the luncheon tomorrow after the funeral.......When i arrived home it was going on for 10pm and i had to get my cake mixed up and in the oven for the luncheon tomorrow. i made my 2 ingredient cake~ all it is, a Betty Crocker Angel food cake mix, and 1 , 20oz can of crushed pineapple, juice and all. you mix it all together for a couple of minutes, then bake it for 25 to 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. you bake it in a 9 x 13 pan. It is a great diabetic cake , it has barely any fat or calories. i get 18 squares when i cut it.....it was good today to see all the family members. Why is it families only get together for funerals or weddings?? i think that is a cryin shame. i will write more later, when life settles down some. Hope you all are well and happy! bad day

went to the doctor today.....my regular doc. i have finally received Medicare, so was feeling not too bad. Doc and i talked about what my body has been doin and we decided that i have "diabetic neuropathy" . my toes, feet and lower legs have been affected, plus i am wondering now, that what i thought was Irritable Bowel Syndrome, isn't caused by the neuropathy also, cuz it can attack your digestive system causing the same outcome. so, i am gonna be on 2 more meds......Lyrica for my neuropathy, and Bentyl for the digestive problem. i do have to figure out more about my Medicare tho, cuz i wasn't able to get the "hose" for my legs that i needed nor the new walker......i would have had to paid out of pocket like almost $200 for those things.

i will have to get those old lady shoes becuz of my feet, and the doc said to just call the eye doctor and see if Medicare will cover eye exam/new glasses due to my being a diabetic. so, i have lots of phone calls to make tomorrow, couldn't get anyone to answer their phones today. i don't know how some of the people here where i live, get so much stuff for free, when i can't seem to get much of anything. it just don't seem fair, but; then who said life was fair, right.?? July~~~

July and i go back a long ways.....1966 to be exact. My daughter was stillborn on the 14th and my son, was born on July 19th......4years and 5 days apart. i can't explain what i feel......it is just something that hangs over my head every July. When Jason was alive, it wasn't so bad, cuz i had him in my life. When he passed on in Sept. 1992, then the July thing hit harder.........so, i just continue to feel numb, blah........whatever.

i have enjoyed reading all of your blogs tho, which is probably what will be the rest of July...Take care, luv ya...
